Junior Officiating and Scoring Modules

NERVA Junior Officiating and Scoring Modules

For players, coaches, assistant coaches, the modules are built to allow people who have been keeping up with the game to “test out” of the material. There is a pre-quiz before nearly every module. Pass the pre-quiz and move on to the next training material.

Each of the NERVA clinics contain several multimedia courses and one introductory course.  To complete the training and get credit for completing the whole, take all of the courses in your Learning Activities. Other keys to success:

  • The more reliable internet connection, the better. 
  • We do not recommended taking the material on a phone (screen is too small to see content)

  • Libero Control (~16 min.) 
  • Scoring Basics Non-deciding Set (~25 min.) 
  • Scoring – Deciding Set (~7 min.) 
  • Basic Scoring Example (~6 min.)

Here’s how to earn credit for viewing these USA Volleyball modules:

  1. Log into Webpoint (our membership database) at https://webpoint.usavolleyball.org/
  2. Under Region Clinics, click on Region Ref/Score Clinics
  3. Follow on-screen prompts to register for the desired clinic(s)
  4. Click on red Login to USAV Academy button to jump to Academy to take course work.
  5. Once registered, ALWAYS go to USAV Academy by logging into Webpoint and clicking on that same red Academy button.
