This page contains relevant referee information for the 2020 Winterfest 1. We work very hard to include all important information here as it becomes available.
Here’s how you can do your part… If you are officiating at this tournament, read this carefully. If there is something you think is missing, read it again. Be certain you’ve looked at all the applicable links and downloads. If after you’ve done that, something is missing, by all means, drop a line. We’re FAR from perfect and we want to be sure everyone has a hotel room for the weekend and knows where to go and when to be there. But the first thing we do when we get a question is to wonder if we messed (usually at a time when time is of the essence).
Thanks very much….
Please direct questions to Steve Webster, firstname.lastname@example.org (but please read below before writing).

Pre-tournament meeting will be Saturday morning at 715 in one of the Boardrooms on Level 4 (one level up from the exhibit floor, where the courts are located). Prior to that meeting, please read and have with you (printed or on a device) the Tournament Referee Information at https://www.dropbox.com/s/zszjejaz9qjjnxa/2020_WF1_Referee_Info.pdf?dl=0.
We will be using Sportwrench to distribute the schedule to individual referees. We will be publishing Saturday’s schedule later in the week. Probably Friday. Please do not write to ask about the schedule. When it is available, it will be posted. Until it is posted, it is not ready. Watch this page for more information. You will be able to obtain your schedule via your phone or other mobile device. In addition to the online schedule, we will have a hard copy at championship. But, the primary distribution for most of our personnel will be done electronically. This will ensure you have the latest schedule, we will have accurate payroll, etc.
We are still still working out bugs in using ArbiterPay to pay referees, so please bear with us.
IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION: NERVA referees need to be sure your ArbiterPay username and account number is in NOVA. Referees from outside of NERVA, please email ArbiterPay username and account number to both email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that we need your ArbiterPay username and not your regular Arbiter ID. If you do not yet have an ArbiterPay ID, you can get one for free at https://www.refpay.com/system/register1.php.
