New England Region All-Star Championship Program

Welcome to the NERVA All-Stars Championship Program page!

This is a New England Region program that was formerly called the NERVA High Performance Program. NERVA sponsors this program to provide junior athletes with high-level training and skill development. We offer a college-like experience where athletes learn what it is like to be an elite-level athlete!

As a New England Region All-Star, they will play against other all-star teams from around the country at the USA Volleyball All-Star Championship tournament. In 2024, the All-Star Championship will be in Des Moines, Iowa from July 16 – 22, 2024 including travel days.

IMPORTANT: Players participating in this program must compete in 3 NERVA-sanctioned events in the current season! Events can be NERVA-sanctioned Convention Center or NERVA One-Day Series events.

All-Star Team Age Levels & Player Selection

In 2024, we will be forming the following teams for these divisions to compete at the USAV All-Star Championships in Des Moines:

  • Girls U15 (Born in 2010/2011)
  • Girls U17 (Born in 2008/2009)
  • Boys U17 (Born in 2008/2009)

How will players be selected?

NERVA will have scouts at all NERVA-sanctioned tournaments. To be considered for this program, participants are required to:

  1. Be a current registered member of NERVA and USA Volleyball in good standing
  2. Be on a roster for 3 NERVA-sanctioned tournaments such as Convention Center or One-Day Series events (2 rosters for Boys and Girls 18’s)
  3. Sign all required forms issued by the NERVA All-Star department including…
    1. Code of Conduct
    2. Medical Release Form
    3. Player Contract
  4. Must supply a birth certificate

All-Star Selection Schedule & Commitment

Players will be scouted at NERVA events throughout the entire 2023/2024 season. Offers will be emailed beginning May 1st, 2024 or earlier!

What Happens If You Make A New England All-Star Team?

The New England All-Star Championship Program costs $400 (players are responsible for their own airfare) and once teams are complete, a series of Team ZOOM meetings will be setup!

Time Commitment & Schedule:

  • July 12 – 14 -> New England Region All-Star Training Camp: The Den – South Windsor, CT (This is an overnight camp. Hotel and Meals will be provided!)
  • July 15 -> Off Day
  • July 16 -> Travel Day to Des Moines, IA (NERVA will supply transportation from airport to hotel!)
  • July 17 -> Practice Day
  • July 18 – 21 -> USA Volleyball All-Star Championship Tournament
  • July 22 -> Travel Day (NERVA will supply transportation from hotel to airport!)
