Junior Memberships
Welcome to NERVA Juniors!
To register for a junior membership, parents will need a SportsEngine account established in their name before purchasing a membership for their player. A profile will be created for the player during the purchase process. PARENTS: DO NOT PURCHASE A JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP IN YOUR NAME — YOUR PLAYER’S MEMBERSHIP MUST BE IN THEIR NAME.
The following memberships will be available starting May 1, 2024:
- 23-24 NERVA Summer Junior Player Membership – $15, valid from May 1 until October 31, 2024. Allows for participation in summer programs. Participants are not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, Junior Nationals, National High Performance teams/camps, etc.)
- 23-24 NERVA Summer Junior Player — SafeSport Required Membership – $15, valid from May 1 until October 31, 2024. Allows for participation in summer programs for those who are 18 or older as of the last day of the membership season. Participants must be SafeSport trained prior to participation and are not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, Junior Nationals, National High Performance teams/camps, etc.)

To purchase a Summer membership, please click on the membership link you need below to be directed to SportsEngine.
The following memberships will be available starting May 1, 2025:
- 24-25 NERVA Summer Junior Player Membership – $15, valid from May 1 until October 31, 2025. This membership allows for participation in summer programming. Participants in this category are not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, JNC, National Team Development Program teams/camps, etc). This membership is NOT upgradeable.
- 24-25 NERVA Summer Junior Player — SafeSport Required Membership – $15, valid from May 1 until October 31, 2025. This membership allows for participation in summer programming for those who are 18 or older as of the last day of the membership season. Participants must be SafeSport trained prior to participation and are not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, JNC, National Team Development Program teams/camps, etc). This membership is NOT upgradeable.

The following memberships will be available starting August 1, 2024:
- 24-25 NERVA Junior Player Membership – $60, valid thru August 31, 2025. Allows for participation as a junior player in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events.
- 24-25 NERVA Junior Player — SafeSport Required Membership – $60, valid thru August 31, 2025. Allows for participation in all junior USAV/RVA sanctioned events for those who are 18 or older as of the last day of the membership season. Participants must be SafeSport trained prior to participation.

The following memberships will be available starting July 1, 2025:
- 25-26 NERVA Tryout Membership – $15, valid thru August 31, 2026. This membership allows only for participation in Region sanctioned club volleyball tryouts and tryout memberships cannot be assigned to clubs or rosters. It does not allow for participation in other region sanctioned events (practices, competitions, camps, clinics, etc) or in USAV bid tournaments or USAV junior nationals. NOTE: Tryout memberships are upgradable.

The following memberships will be available starting August 1, 2025:
- 25-26 NERVA Junior Player Membership – $65, valid thru August 31, 2026. Allows for participation as a junior player in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events.
- 25-26 NERVA Junior Player — SafeSport Required Membership – $65, valid thru August 31, 2026. Allows for participation in all junior USAV/RVA sanctioned events for those who are 18 or older as of the last day of the membership season. Participants must be SafeSport trained prior to participation.
Club Assignments
USA Volleyball and SportsEngine requires players to choose and accept a club assignment every season. This means that a player must be assigned to the club of their choosing before they can be placed on a roster!
- If you know what club your player is planning to join, please click the “Club Listings & Membership Links” button below to find your NERVA Club and use the club’s direct link to purchase a membership. These direct links will automatically assign your player’s membership to the club of their choice. If you need to switch your player’s assignment, please reach out NERVA staff directly!
- If your player needs a Tryout Membership, please click the “Tryout Memberships” button below to purchase a membership. Once your player makes a team, you must upgrade them to a full season membership and accept the direct club assignment request from the club of their choosing on SportsEngine. REMINDER: Tryout Memberships cannot be assigned to clubs and are not valid for full season participation.
- If your player is undecided and not sure what club fits them best, please click the “Unassigned Memberships” button below to purchase a membership. Once your player decides what club to join, their club must send them a direct club assignment request on SportsEngine. Make sure you accept the assignment request so your player can be placed on a team roster for the season!
